The Uma Institute of Nursing Sciences, Jath, Dist-Sangli, and Maharashtra is one of the educational unit of Uma Charitable Trust, Jath. Our Institute offers B.Sc. Nursing , ANM & GNM courses. This educational unit is recognized by govt. of Maharashtra, MUHS Nashik, Maharashtra Nursing Council, and Mumbai & approved by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. The duration of course is 4 years B.Sc. Nursing 2 years ANM & 3 years for GNM.

Our institute is situated in main part of city at Jath- on Bijapur highway at the calm place. It is in decent & will-ventilated place, which is sufficient to conduct theory as well as practical without any disturbance.

The institute is having qualified well experienced staff. They are taking maximum efforts to raise the standard of teaching. Thus, it is said that “Teachers are born but not made” this stands true with our staff. The Institute has outdoor as well as indoor games; numbers of game are being played every year, the institute has got sufficient books in its library to circulate for study of the students.

Dr. Arali founded the Uma Charitable Trust which has turned out to be of emense use to people, the trust has provided people with free treatment, free medical equipment’s for hospitals etc.

Uma charitable Trust (“The Trust”) is a not-for-public charitable trust registered under the provisions of the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950 vide Public Trust Reg No E-1249/Sangli with the main object of rendering services for the economically weaker sections of the society in terms of education, hospitals, medical facilities, dweling unites, upliftment of the rural slums, rehabilitation of handicapped individuals; irrespective of caste, creed and without any discrimination.

The trust started Uma Charitable Hospital and Post Graduate Institute which offers D.G.O course (affiliated to C.P.S. Mumbai) to medical students coming from all states. The trust provide with a sophisticated, Hospital with Laparoscopy, Hysteroscopy, Colposcopy etc. our medical field widen with well-equipped 250 beds. Our Kai. S S Arali Multi-Specialty Hospital having facility of Rajiv Gandhi Jeevandayee Arogya Yojana for poor and needy patients.
